Pope Francis may meet the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, this weekend during a visit to Rome, media reports say.The meeting would be the first in-person encounter between the two since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.Italian media reports also say Zelenskyy will meet Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on May 13.Reuters, citing diplomatic sources, said the pope and Zelenskyy are expected to meet in the Vatican on Saturday.
