Pope Leo, Patriarch in Lisbon Pray for Those Killed, Injured in Cable-Car Accident

The Ascensor da Glória funicular in Lisbon, Portugal, crashed on Sept. 3, 2025, killing 17 people and injuring at least 23.

Pope Leo also gave an apostolic blessing to all, especially to the families of the deceased.
